Machine tool accessories-Pull studs

Standard definition of pull studs

Standards for CNC machine tool handles and studs used in China:

1. National standard GB10944-89 "7:24 tapered tool shank 40, 45 and 50 tapered shank for automatic tool change machine tools"

2. The pull studs specified by the national standard, "7:24 taper tool shank for automatic tool change machine tools 40, 45 and 50 taper shank pull studs"

3. Japanese standard JISB6339-1986 "Tool shank and pull stud for machining center machine tool"

4. National standard GB3837-83 "Machine Tool 7:24 Cone Connection"

The tool handle in the TSG tool system, its code (according to the 1990 national standard for approval) consists of four parts, the meaning of each part is as follows:

JT- represents the tool handle type code.

45-The tapered shank indicates the taper specification. .

Brief introduction of taper shank standards for commonly used tools of CNC tools:

National Standard GB 10945-89

"7:24 tapered tool shank for automatic tool change machine tools 40, 45 and 50 tapered shank pull studs"

It is formulated with reference to the international standard ISO 7388/2-1984, with the same external dimensions, divided into two types: A type and B type:

The bevel angle of the tensioning surface of A type pull stud is 15°, which is used for the tensioning device without steel ball, and the code is "LDA";

The bevel angle of the tightening surface of the B-type pull stud is 45°, which is used for the tightening device with steel ball, and the code is "LDB".

Both have through holes for coolant circulation.

There are two types of pull studs according to German standard DIN 6988-1987: Type A and Type B:

Type A with through holes.

Type B does not have a through hole, but has an annular groove for the sealing ring to prevent the coolant from leaking from the tail.

The bevel angle of the tensioning surface of the two studs is 15°, which is used for the tensioning device without steel ball.

The Japanese standard JIS B 6339: 1998 has only one type of pull stud. The bevel angle of the tension surface of the pull stud is 15°. It is used for tensioning devices without steel balls, and the code is "xxP".

There are two types of pull studs according to the standard MAS-403 of the Japanese Work Machinery Industry Association: Type I and Type II:

The bevel angle of the tightening surface of type Ⅰ pull stud is 30°, which is used for the tightening device without steel ball;

The bevel angle of the tightening surface of type Ⅱ pull stud is 45°, which is used for tightening device with steel ball.

When using, it should be noted that the head length of these two pull studs is smaller than the JIS B 6339:1998 standard pull stud head diameter, and the neck length is longer. The code is "PxxT".

American standard AMSE B5.50-1994 has only one type of pull stud. The bevel angle of the tension surface of the pull stud is 45°, and there is no centering cylinder between the flange and the thread.

The thread should be a UNC thread. The domestic manufacturer has changed it to the corresponding metric thread for the convenience of users. Other dimensions remain unchanged.
